We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
As a growing family on mission, we are pouring our lives into students who are learning to lead others to Christ. What God is building isn’t just Bible studies — it’s raising up leaders who will reach others for generations! Your partnership helps make this possible.
We are grateful to continue serving at Boise State University in Idaho. Boise State is home to a vibrant and ambitious student body known for thinking differently — hence the blue football field. In the university’s own words, “It’s about breaking norms, blazing new trails and imagining the possibilities of what could be.”
Our mission is to direct that drive toward what matters most: a deep, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We are forming students to become leaders who lead others — disciples who make disciples — living out Christ’s Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. Boise State students long for something more, and our hope is to help them discover the abundant life that comes from knowing and following Him.
Our team: Caleb, Bella, Fr. Nathan, Dana, Clare, and Grant

Grant’s Story: For much of my life, I saw God as a rule-maker rather than a loving Father. It wasn’t until a retreat in high school, during my first experience of Eucharistic Adoration, that I encountered Him personally and heard the invitation to “put Me first.” Through walking with a FOCUS missionary in college, I learned how to live not just as someone who follows rules, but as a beloved son of God — and eventually felt called to help others do the same as a missionary.
Years later, through a frightening health scare with my newborn son, God gave me a deeper glimpse of His heart as Father — how fiercely He loves each of His children and longs to bring them home. That revelation fuels my mission today: to help students rediscover their identity as sons and daughters of God and to form leaders who will bring others back to the Father’s heart. Your partnership makes that mission possible.
When we answered Jesus’ call to become FOCUS missionaries, we made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of a team of mission partners to help us accomplish this mission. We deeply believe that the Lord has given us our vocation as husband and wife in order for our love to reflect the light of God’s love upon those we meet, and we know that the means to make this mission a reality come from the generous sacrifices of our mission partners. As Mother Teresa said, “Some give by going, and some go by giving. Without both, the mission does not exist.” Our mission partners aren’t simply giving; it’s a spiritual reality that they’re on mission with us, as their role is just as vital as ours!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
