Where I serve

I have been placed at Colorado School of Mines! We have a 4 person team including myself, Chuck, Christian, and Brynn our team director. Brynn comes along with a few honorary members, her husband Erik and her daughter Anne Marie! We lead discipleship and bible studies with students, and build them up to become missionaries of Christ’s love too!

My Story

I went into college as a psychology major because I knew that everyone has a deep internal wound that they are constantly trying to fill. I myself went through trial and error of filling this void. A common answer for this in worldly psychology is overmedication and spending thousands of dollars on therapy. For others, it is finding anything to numb reality for a little while. This is all temporary, and we were not made for temporary satisfaction. We were made for JOY. It’s a painful process of figuring it out on your own and realizing that there is no “one size fits all” cure.
I had lost all hope for living a fulfilling life. That is… until I encountered the love of Jesus Christ. That longing that we have in our hearts is a longing to be close to Him, who is LOVE. I am here to tell you that you are not broken for feeling this way. We all tragically inherited broken hearts after “The Fall” from the Garden of Eden. We were made to live in constant communion with our Creator.

I am determined to share this with the world for 2 reasons:
1) No one deserves to live in that pain any longer.
2) We are all going to spend eternity somewhere and have the ability to choose God now.

Living as a missionary is realizing that, when we leave this earth, we can only take other people into eternity. I am hoping that in sharing my story I can show others the joy of choosing to be in constant communion with Him. Getting to know Him deeper has allowed me to be loved by “Love” Himself. I cannot wait to give college students the same opportunity that I was graciously given!

In wanting to go out on this mission I also recognize that I cannot do it alone. I understand that there are many people who cannot go out on mission and this is my invitation for you to join me in mine!! It is only by your support and your prayer that I am able to reach those who are most in need. Thank you for all that you are doing, not only for me but also for a great many of God’s children.
