I prayed to be sent to a beach, and God sent me to Miami!

I will be serving my first year at the University of Miami in Florida! These are my sweet teammates that I will be serving alongside this year!

I grew up Catholic and am incredibly grateful for the faith I was given. Yet for much of my life, I viewed Catholicism as a series of boxes to check rather than a relationship to be lived. As I struggled with my identity, I often felt like I was never enough. It wasn’t until I encountered Christ in a personal way that everything began to change. In Him, I discovered that my worth was not something I had to earn, but something I had already been given as a beloved daughter of God.

When I left Colorado to attend college in Phoenix, I spent my first three years trying to do everything on my own. During my senior year, the Lord placed missionaries in my life who welcomed me into their home and showed me the beauty of authentic friendship and life with Christ. Through their witness, I learned that the Christian life was never meant to be lived alone, and my faith became a living relationship with Jesus.

After attending SEEK in 2024, I first felt called to missionary work. However, I pursued my dream of becoming a nurse and eventually worked as a NICU nurse in Oklahoma City. While I loved caring for patients and their families, I continued to feel the Lord drawing my heart toward mission.

Then, while praying at SEEK 2026, I felt the Lord gently ask, “What if I could still make you a missionary?” The door I thought had closed suddenly opened, and I was reminded that God truly makes all things new.

Today, I have the privilege of serving as a missionary at the University of Miami. Through authentic friendship, Bible studies, discipleship, retreats, and mission trips, I will walk alongside young women as they encounter the love of Christ and discover their identity as beloved daughters of God.

Many students arrive on campus searching for purpose, belonging, and identity—the same things I was searching for myself. My prayer is to meet them in those questions and help lead them to Jesus.

I am continually humbled by the generosity of those who join in this mission. Your support allows us to reach more souls, proclaim the Gospel, and walk alongside young women as they encounter the life-changing love of Jesus Christ.
