I am excited to be serving at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska! Go Wildcats! I cannot wait to see how God moves on campus and in the lives of the students I will have the privilege of serving.

I spent years searching for a love that I had already been given.

Deep down, I longed for a love that was safe, unconditional, and lasting. Instead of receiving that love from God, I searched for it in the approval of others and in my own achievements. I became convinced that if I could just be more successful, more disciplined, or more “put together,” then I would finally be worthy of love.

That pursuit eventually led me into years of struggling with eating disorders and constantly trying to fix myself. No matter what I achieved or changed, the emptiness remained.

The turning point in my story was not a single moment, but the steady and fierce pursuit of Jesus throughout my life. Through people who took the time to know me, listen to me, and love me well, I began to encounter Christ in a personal way. They showed me that my deepest longing was not for a relationship, success, or approval, but for Jesus Himself. Slowly, He began to reveal that the love I had spent years trying to earn had been freely given to me from the very beginning.

As I experienced His healing, I began to discover a freedom I had never known before. For the first time, I was able to live not as someone striving to prove her worth, but as a beloved daughter resting in the love of her Father.

When I look back on my story, I am struck by the people God placed in my life. Their willingness to accompany me, speak truth into my struggles, and point me toward Christ changed everything. Through them, I encountered the love I had been searching for my entire life.

That is why I am a missionary.

I want to accompany students who feel unseen, who are striving to prove themselves, or who are searching for fulfillment in all the wrong places. I want them to know that they do not have to earn God’s love because they already have it.

Just as others walked with me and helped me encounter Christ, I now have the privilege of walking with students as they discover their true identity and the freedom that comes from belonging to Him.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve God alongside you in reaching the hearts of Wayne State students! Your support is far more than a financial gift. It is a direct investment in the lives of young men and women who are searching for purpose, belonging, and truth. Because of your generosity, students will have the opportunity to encounter Christ, experience the freedom of the Gospel, and become the saints God created them to be.

I am excited not only to share stories of how God is moving on campus, but also to get to know you personally. I would love to hear how I can be praying for you and your family, celebrate the joys in your life, and walk with you through whatever season God has you in. This mission is only possible because of faithful partners like you, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share it with you.
