We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve as a first year missionary at The Ohio State University! Go Buckeyes!
I started my freshman year of college at the University St. Thomas in Minnesota with the intention of having the classic “college experience.” One semester in, I transferred up to the University of Minnesota Duluth where I continued that lifestyle, but desperately desired something more. Through the FOCUS Missionaries on campus and the community at the Newman Center at UMD, I quickly learned of the Lords consistent pursuit of my heart.
I was invited into a FOCUS missionary’s Bible study where I very hesitantly said yes to attending, and was met with a community of women that desired the same authentic friendship that I did with each other and with our Lord. I was struck with the realization that I did not have a relationship with Jesus, and that I really do desire to know Him. Through authentic friendship, attending Bible study and discipleship, and becoming more consistent with the sacraments, the Lord transformed me and revealed to me my truest identity as His beloved daughter.
This longing to know Jesus only grew, and my “yes” to FOCUS came from a desire to stay close to Him, to continue to be formed well, and to surrender my own plans for His. At the same time, I also want college women to experience the love of their Father and know that He deeply desires a relationship with them during such a pivotal season of their lives.
Through my “yes” to FOCUS, I have committed to relying on the spiritual and financial support of others so that more people can encounter Jesus. If you feel the Lord may be calling you to join me in this mission, I would love to connect with you. Please reach out – I would be grateful for the opportunity to share more about this mission and how you can be part of it!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
