We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Psalm 121:1-2 I lift my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and Earth.
Hi! I am a FOCUS missionary at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Go Minutemen!
I grew up in a Christian home that cultivated my faith, but like many college students, I fell into looking for fulfillment in the things that never satisfy: recognition, social status, Greek life, academics, music, and approval of others. God patiently drew me me closer to Him through the people He placed in my life, especially my husband, Michael. With him and other friends, I had deep conversations about faith, scripture, and what it means to follow Christ wholeheartedly.
After graduating from Washington & Lee University and getting married in 2025, I became more and more interested in the history of the Church and the beliefs of early Christians. What started out as curiosity turned into constant study, prayer, and wrestling with questions I never thought I would ask. Although tough at times, the Lord used this to deepen my faith, help me grow in humility and charity, transform the desires of my heart, and ultimately teach me greater trust in His sovereign plan.
Now, as a FOCUS missionary at University of Massachusetts Amherst, I am so excited to walk with college students as they search for the same things I once searched for: identity, purpose, belonging, and truth. I pray that they meet Jesus Christ, grow in their relationship with Him, and discover the eternal joy that comes from following Him faithfully.
As FOCUS missionaries, we rely on spiritual and financial support and generosity of mission partners on a recurring basis. If you are interested in joining my support team, please let me know the best way to reach out as I’d be honored to share this mission with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
