We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hey! My name’s Henry. I serve as a missionary as the University of Massachusetts Amherst!
I am serving as a missionary at the University of Massachusetts Amherst! Go Minutemen! I am very excited to serve the students at this flagship university and be able to walk with them on their journey in growing closer to Christ!
I was blessed to receive the Catholic faith from my parents, and it was nurtured by faith-filled church communities while growing up and throughout high school. In college, however, I had to fully take responsibility for my own faith. It was in college that I first encountered FOCUS missionaries, and they invited me deeper into my relationship with Christ through bible studies and deep friendship. My sophomore year, I was invited to a FOCUS retreat called SEEK. This retreat, which included talks, great small group discussions, and Eucharistic adoration, was a turning point in my relationship with Jesus. I recognized that there is nothing more important than a relationship with Jesus, and this relationship was a source of great joy. I wanted nothing more than to be in friendship with Christ, and to help bring others closer to Him and to find the same joy that I had. Right now, this has led to me saying yes to serving as a missionary to the students at UMass Amherst!
Your partnership is crucial in this work, and would not be possible without you! Your impact will help with allowing me to dedicate myself full time to serving the students at UMass, as well as supplies for Bible studies and intentional discipleship meetings. Thank you so much, God Bless you!!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
