I attended Mississippi State University, a place where I often felt lonely, especially during the first years. Being away from home and trying to find my footing left me feeling isolated and unsure of who I was becoming.

But in that loneliness, God was quietly working.

Through those difficult seasons, I was blessed to meet some incredible Catholic missionaries who invested in me, walked with me, and reminded me that I was never truly alone. They didn’t just share their faith they showed me how to live it. Their witness and friendship helped form me into the man I am today.

Looking back, I see how God used that time of struggle to deepen my relationship with Him and to shape my heart for mission and community. Mississippi State wasn’t just where I went to college, it is where I found Christ more deeply through His people.
