We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“The only real sadness, the only real failure, the only great tragedy in life, is not to become a saint.”
– Leon Bloy
I lead the FOCUS team at USAFA, where we invest in cadets by helping them grow closer to Christ and preparing them to lead with faith, integrity, and purpose in the military and throughout their lives.
I was born in Hays, Kansas, and raised in Victoria, Kansas, where I attended Victoria Jr/Sr High School. After I graduated from Victoria, I attended Fort Hays State University, pursing a degree in business management. I was also recruited to play football for Fort Hays, which I did for the first two years of my college career. Within my first week on campus I was greeted by a FOCUS missionary and joined a bible study led by them shortly after. It was through this missionary (and a lot of trials) that I came to know my identity as a beloved son of God.
I began to grab at the graces God was giving me, wanting more and more of them. As I pursued my degree, I came to the conviction that it was even more important to pursue the Lord and share Him with others. I was able to lead several bible studies and lead two summer missions for the Salina Diocese (Totus Tuus and Prayer & Action). During my time in these missions I saw how formative these years of our lives are.
College students are at a crucial time in their lives and often the choices they make will affect them for the rest of their lives. I want to serve the Lord and let Him use me to reach souls of the lost on campuses. I want to live a life of heroic virtue and encourage others to do the same. May the Lord give them the opportunities to come back to You, who on the cross said, “I Thirst.”

I want to thank you from the depths of my heart for choosing to support me and the mission of FOCUS! I am so honored to be partnered with you in fulfilling the great commission. Together, we will change the culture on campuses, directing the lost back to the Lord. Thank you for your generous help! Together, lets be saints!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
