I have been called to serve at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln for a third year! I will continue serving college students on this campus and you’ll typically find me hanging out at the Newman Center, at a coffee shop, or on a walk with students. I love to share about my story of how Jesus has changed my life! Come find me, and I’d be happy to tell you about the journey:)

Here’s a picture of my UNL team which includes Anders, Julia, Kelsey, Nicole, Greg, Chad, Morgan, Luke, Jake & family (Brenda, Israel, Colette, Felicity) and I. We also have one December grad- Isaac and our priests are Fr. Sasse & Fr. Kaup!

I grew up Catholic and was basically doing the motions. I continued to go to mass on Sundays and attended bible study every week at the Newman Center once I got to college but was still not putting my faith first. My sophomore year I joined prayer teams with FOCUS because I couldn’t say no:) I also was on the Newman Center Student Board.

As I became more involved through these small yeses, I started to see how a girl was living her life for the Lord which was very attractive to me. In the Spring of my sophomore year, she asked me to be in discipleship and from then on, I started having a prayer life and had a personal relationship with God. After that, I started leading a bible study and led multiple girls in discipleship. I also went on a mission trip to NY to work with the Sisters of Life. Through these things, my desire to live my faith out fully, grew and grew! I then applied for a job as a FOCUS missionary and the Lord transformed and opened my heart to be able to say yes!

My first and second year being a missionary was so exciting to bring others closer to Jesus to experience the joy that having a relationship with Him brings. Sharing with college females how beautiful their femininity is and how amazing their fertility is which has been created perfectly by God was also a gift. My life has been transformed because of Jesus and I am excited to keep helping others get to know His goodness, love, and mercy by sharing the Gospel. Jesus met his disciples where they were at, and I get to do the exact same thing!

These past two years have been amazing walking with the women here at UNL! During my time here in Lincoln, I’ve had three girls who I’ve walked with in discipleship become FOCUS missionaries. My bible study girls are so sweet! I’m so blessed to be in Lincoln for this next year:)

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
