Where I serve

It’s time for me to head up to the Northeast and see how the New Englanders live!! I’ll be serving as a first-time FOCUS missionary at the University of Connecticut! GO HUSKIES!!! 🐾💙 I am beyond excited to see how the Lord will move and work through this new adventure, and I can’t wait to share this journey with all of you!

My Story

Hello! My name is Jade, and I just graduated from George Mason University with a B.S. in Kinesiology! When I arrived at GMU, despite my Catholic upbringing, I had not yet had a real and personal encounter with the Lord. I came to Mason carrying lots of baggage and bad habits, but most of all, a deep desire to be truly loved, seen, and known.

It was through my encounter with a FOCUS missionary at St. Robert Bellarmine Chapel that my life changed. Her relentless pursuit to be in authentic relationship with me, and I mean relentless, along with the loving and supportive community of the Catholic Patriots, created the space where I was able to have a true and intimate encounter with the Lord. And WOW, can He do crazy things!

For the first time, I experienced what it meant to be truly seen, known, and loved. It was there that my heart for mission was awakened. My desire to walk with girls and help bring them to God, so that they too can be brought back from death (a life separated from God) to Life (a life with Him), has only grown deeper as I have continued to serve the campus ministry at Mason.

Now, I get to say “YES” to going on mission as a FOCUS missionary at UConn and encounter those students who feel just as lost as I once did!

I could tell you countless stories of the ways the Lord has transformed my life, and I would truly love the opportunity to share more of my testimony with you.
