Where I serve

I am proud to be serving my second year at Worcester Polytechnic Institute!

My Story

Growing up in rural New York, in a place where the Catholic faith is hurting, living in a broken home, I found myself lost and lacking in faith. Searching for more, I decided to attend Belmont Abbey College in Belmont N.C.

On the very first day of orientation I met a Focus missionary who invited me to come to Bible study. It wasn’t long after I attended that I began asking the big questions; is God real? Does he love me? Does going to church matter?

Through prayer, education, and friendship, I found the answer to these crucial questions. By senior year I was leading my own Bible study and helping lead other students in Spiritual formation.

Before graduation I was invited to a Focus interview weekend. I was hesitant to work in ministry but after praying about it I felt a great peace, a peace telling me to say yes.

Your Impact

If not you, then who? This simple phrase, echoed throughout history, has had a profound effect on men and women who have made a difference. These are the words that led me to Focus and the same words that hopefully will lead to your support.

In a world where 80% of people who lose their faith do so before the age of 25. It’s crucial that men and women go forward to bring every soul the joy they deserve, to tell them that they are loved, and walk with them in truth. By donating, you are helping people find themselves, and what they are made for. We aren’t counselors or therapists, we’re friends, bringing the Love of Christ to all people.

What does that mean? It means that your support will help me on my mission as I walk with university students. Together we will be able to provide events, Bible studies, and mission trips for students. With your support I believe we can change the world, one student at a time!
