Where I serve

I’m serving in New London, Connecticut with the United States Coast Guard Academy.

Our mission…

[To] go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” – Matthew 28

As Cadets train to become commissioned Coast Guard officers – ensuring the safety, security, and stewardship of our nation’s waters – the Lord likewise commissions these brilliant and driven minds to serving Him! As a missionary advocate for Christ and His Church I have the special opportunity to introduce, instruct, and invest in the service men and women of the Coast Guard Academy in their journeys with Christ.

With my primary efforts guided towards bringing Cadets in relationship with our savior Jesus Christ, let us pray to the Lord for their continued efforts to serve our country and one another with a vigorous yet tender heart, relying on God’s love and the intercession of our Lady for grace, consolation, and tenacity.

Therefore, put on the armor of God… stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate, and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace… hold faith as a shield… And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” – Ephesians 6

My Story

As the youngest of four boys, my parents instilled in me a great desire to always pursue my faith and rely on the Lord’s will over my own. Following my graduation, the continued desire for greater devotion in prayer and frequenting of the sacraments led to my increased participation and service to local parishes, bringing me in close contact with the amazing work done through FOCUS.

My college missionary personally invested in me, pushing me to pursuing a greater trust and dependence on God. I was convicted to offer my talents and service to the Lord, who delights in all of our small and humble gifts of self. These small and humble yes’ to His will have led me to pursuing full-time mission work with FOCUS, praise God!

Your Impact

As a FOCUS Missionary, this “yes” puts me on the spiritual front-lines of God’s battle against the evil one, the battle for souls on the college campus. By God’s grace I’m offered security, hope, and determination to reach these souls and lead them to the Father!

Through personal investment with these college students, I have the wonderful opportunity to accompany them in their walk with Christ; to guide, provide, and love them with everything I have to offer!

Your gift will not only provide for me, but for all the students that I will come in contact with while on campus. It is a gift of kingdom-building proportions, and with God’s leading hand He can use these gifts through me to help fulfill our mission; to bring souls to Him and His Church, the Catholic and Apostolic faith!
