My Story

My mission in Christ Jesus is to seek out students who are lost and hopeless, as I once was. That in the service of grace I might help them to know a good Father who infinitely loves them. That no matter where they come from, there is a family in heaven that prays for them constantly.

Growing up, I did not know my own faith; I had received my sacraments but never lived my faith through the sacraments. Through these early years, I continued to fill the hole of my heart with things that never seemed to satisfy. Eventually I gave up on the idea that I was loved, and retreated away from love for God and others.

The biggest turning point of my life was meeting FOCUS missionaries, who sacrificially loved me so intentionally. Their continued witness and sacrifice pulled me back to the heart of the Father like never before. From glory unto glory, I returned to my true home, to Mass, to adoration, to his church. I began to enter into the faith I once thought lost forever, and found such an amazing family.

Thanks to this, I can no longer stay still; I have only one drive: to seek and love the children of God. Through my mission, I hope to remind them of the love that has always waited for them and fulfill the great commission. For the mission of the church has only just begun!
