Where I serve

For my first year as a FOCUS missionary, I will be serving at the BOSCO house at THEE Auraria Campus, home of the Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and University of Colorado Denver!!!

My Story

“What is God calling you to do?” I cannot count how many times I have asked myself this question throughout my time at Towson University. Although I had some level of faith in Jesus when I was younger, it was not until I attended the Newman Center at Towson that I experienced a true desire to serve God.

With the help of the FOCUS missionaries on my campus, my relationship with Christ grew in ways I never thought possible. Before then, pursuing a career in my chosen field was never in doubt. However, through continual prayer, discernment, and wise counsel, I felt God calling me to something greater. I chose to say “yes” to His plan and His desire for me to serve Him.

This “yes” was more than an ordinary response. It represented courage, trust, humility, and surrender. It was a response to God’s call to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Seeing how God has transformed my own life and witnessing His work in the lives of those around me has inspired me to introduce others to Christ and His teachings.

The joy, purpose, and formation I have received through FOCUS and through following God’s plan have prepared me to become the best man, husband, father, employee, and disciple that I can be. I am excited for the opportunity to help others encounter Christ and experience the same life-changing relationship with Him that I have found.
