My Story
As a Missionary I have a desire to turn hearts into the heart of Christ. This is from missionaries slowly pushing me to become more Christ-like.
When I entered college, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I was in a limbo with the Lord. Deep down, I desired to grow deeper with the Lord, but the surrounding culture created a fog that blinded me to the light of Christ. Midway through freshman year, I went through some of the hardest trials of my life; from this, the Lord brought FOCUS missionaries to my doorstep. For the next 3 years, I wrestled with the Lord, learning to slowly place my trust in him. This constant love from the missionaries serving me allowed my heart to be transformed.
Now, Jesus has called me by name to change the hearts of other men. Every day, I will be able to be transformed by his love and therefore go out and give that same love. I hope to be a living reflection of the love Jesus desires for each of us and go out to young men in trials to be the glimmer of light in a dark world.
