Where I serve

The Lord has called me to serve college students as the associate team director at Iowa State University! I am beyond excited to encounter the women Jesus brings to me in this adventure. Please keep Team ISU in your prayers!

My Story

Jesus has been so gentle with my heart!

I was blessed to be raised in a Catholic home where I was taught the truths of the faith and first encountered the reality that I was made for relationship with God. In spite of this, for many years, I simply viewed God as someone to please and impress, not as a Father who desires to hold me eternally in His loving gaze. For most of my life, my heart longed for this embrace without even knowing it!

As I began college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (GBR!), I sought the fulfillment of this desire through worldly means which promised me what they could never give me: real love, joy and freedom! As I repeatedly felt alone, empty and lost, Jesus entered into my life to save me. He ever so gently revealed His heart to me through daily prayer, the sacraments, true friendship with women in my sorority and the priests and missionaries who walked with me with such mercy. I began to drink of the Living Water, and it renewed my heart and my life!

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to help students come to recognize the steadfast and pursuant love of God in their own lives, that they might raise their eyes to meet His loving gaze and come to know the transformative power of the Gospel. That they might become saints!
