We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Without love, deeds, even the most brilliant, count as nothing.” -St. Therese of Lisieux
During my fourth year, the Lord has called me to serve at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. I’m excited to continue to grow in friendship with the students on campus and bring them in relationship to our loving Heavenly Father.
I grew up Catholic and in high school I had an encounter in adoration for the first time at a Steubenville conference but didn’t know what it really was. From there, I wanted to grow in learning more about the Catholic faith I grew up with and decided to go to a Catholic college. I started my undergrad studies at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas and studied Theology and Evangelization/Catechesis.
I was not involved with FOCUS until my sophomore year where two of my friends invited me to their bible study that was led by a missionary. I later was invited into discipleship with my two friends who had initially invited me by another missionary on our campus my junior year. In the span of that year, that same missionary who invited me into discipleship also had the courage to invite me to go on a mission trip in El Salvador. I decided to go, and I am so glad I did because Jesus changed my life on that trip! The missionaries on the trip showed me that I was seen, known and loved by Him but needed to have a relationship with Him in order to fulfill what I was truly searching for in my life. From there I knew Jesus was calling me to share my story with other college students and show them they are seen, known and loved by Him.

I am asking you to be a part of the call I have had for 3 years and help bring the Gospel to college students! I’m relying on the generosity of others both spiritually and financially during my time with FOCUS. I’d love to have you join me on mission! If you’re interested, please contact me.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
