Hi, ladies and gentlemen! I’m Kathleen and it’s a pleasure to meet ya!

Where I serve

I serve on the Conference Team as an Event Specialist for our annual SEEK conference! I am part of helping out the speakers and entertainment.

My Story

I went to the University of Kentucky (Go Cats💙)! During my freshman year, a friend I met during sorority recruitment introduced me to the Newman Center. She invited me to Newman, and I encountered a FOCUS missionary who reached out to me and welcomed me with such love. That is how it all started. From there I began joining Bible study and discipleship and eventually signed up for SEEK’22.

It was at SEEK my freshman year, specifically during adoration, when I experienced a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. It was in that moment when I finally understood what the “living bread” meant, and I knew there was no denying anymore that Jesus was fully present in the Eucharist, and it has never been the same for me since. I have been fortunate to attend each SEEK ever since, and each time it has borne more fruit than I could have ever imagined. Along with the strong impact of Adoration, it didn’t end there; little did I know the impact SEEK was going to have on me was just getting started. The entertainment they provide at every SEEK is something I have always been intrigued by. I’ve always wondered how that whole situation took place. The curiosity was tapped into at SEEK’25 my senior year, after watching Forrest Frank perform, and that curiosity then turned into a deep desire to be part of helping make the experience happen. I’m truly honored to be in this position and grateful for the opportunity to be on mission and serving in this way!
