I’ve heard it said that heaven and hell are separated only by a few inches, the distance from the head to the heart.

Growing up, I was told of Jesus; I knew of Him. But heading into college, I didn’t want to settle for just facts. I wanted a relationship.

That desire led me deeper into my faith journey. Through the people God placed in my life, the friends who walked with me, the mentors who challenged me, and my family that supported me, my faith stopped being just a part of my life and started becoming the foundation of it.

I’m still growing, still learning, but I’ve tasted the joy of a relationship with Christ, and there’s nothing else like it.

Saying “yes” to FOCUS was not merely saying yes to a job; it was saying yes to Jesus’ call for my life. It was saying yes to putting my trust in God both spiritually and financially.
