Where I serve

The Lord has called me to serve at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas! I’m beyond excited to accompany these students in their walk with Christ Jesus, and serve alongside my incredible team!

My Story

I was blessed to be raised in the Catholic faith, so I always knew about Jesus from a young age. However, for a long time, my relationship with Him felt more like following rules and guidelines on how to be a good person rather than truly knowing Him personally. As I got older, especially going into college, I began to realize that Jesus was not just calling me to a set of rules, but inviting me into a real relationship with Him to live the abundant life He created me for, one marked by freedom, purpose, and intimacy with Him.

Through the sacraments, the witness of other faithful Catholics, Bible studies, and missionaries, God slowly revealed Himself to me in a deeper way. I began to see that He was not distant, but present, patient, and actively pursuing me. Throughout college, I continued to ask God how I could fully give my life to Him and live according to His will. I would walk past other students and feel a strong desire to share with them the love of Christ and the truth that only He can provide real identity, purpose, and freedom.

Looking back, I see how faithful He has been, and the gift He has given me of a completely new life and a new lens through which I view my Catholic faith, my identity, and the people around me. This is the gift He wants to give everyone, and that I now have the incredible privilege of sharing with college students as a missionary. My prayer is that every student I encounter comes to know that they are deeply loved by God, created with a purpose, and invited into the abundant life that can only be found in Him!
