Where I serve
God has uniquely designed each one of us, and on top of that, He’s designed specific people we’re meant to encounter throughout each season of life. I can’t wait to meet all the beautiful souls God intends for me to encounter while serving at the University of Memphis! 
My Story
Growing up, I believed in God, but for a long time, my relationship with Him wasn’t something I truly prioritized. I struggled with prayer, found myself falling into sin, and chasing temporary things that left me feeling empty. During my senior year, I attended a retreat called Search and experienced a personal encounter with Jesus for the first time. Through that experience, I began to realize the truth and beauty of living as a fully alive Christian within the Catholic Church. Even after that, I still found myself drifting in and out of old habits and patterns of sin.
It wasn’t until I asked to lead my own Bible study that I truly surrendered my life more fully to God. In that season, the Lord used hardships, reflection, and community to draw me closer to Him and help me better understand the Gospel. Through Bible study, prayer, and learning what it actually means to follow Christ, my faith became personal instead of just something I grew up around. As I continue getting to know the Lord, He has been changing both my heart and my daily life. My deepest desire now is to live intentionally through prayer, praying the rosary daily, receiving the sacraments, and building habits that help me continue growing spiritually and personally.
One moment during prayer, I felt the Lord place an image on my heart of Him guiding me into a pasture full of lambs. With the biggest smile on his face, He said, “Here they are! I love and trust you, so I need you to take care of them and help them know Me better because they are very precious to Me.” I remember feeling overwhelmed with joy and honored that God would trust me to care for people He loves so much. That moment reminded me that ministry is not about recognition or success, but about helping people know Jesus more deeply and walking alongside them with love, truth, and compassion. While I am still growing every day, I can confidently say that Christ has completely changed the direction of my life, and my desire now is to faithfully follow wherever He leads me.
Your Impact
Being on mission full-time gives me the freedom to be radically available to the students. But this would not be possible without the support of some very dear friends who have joined this mission by providing financial support. I believe that God desires every person to share the Gospel and make Him known. However, He does not call us all to do that in the same way. I am so grateful to be able to provide an opportunity for others to go on mission without ever leaving their homes.
