Where I serve

I am excited to be serving as a Varsity Catholic missionary at The University of Oklahoma! I will be walking alongside student athletes and students as they grow in the pursuit of the TRUE, GOOD, and BEAUTIFUL.

My Story

When I transferred to Texas A&M University to play volleyball, I had no idea how the Lord was going to radically transform my life through playing collegiate volleyball and walking with FOCUS missionaries and students.

I fell deeply in love with Holy Scripture and the Catholic Church through FOCUS and St. Mary’s Catholic Center and I was enamored with Christ and desired to know him fully and learn what it meant to live a truly virtuous life. I had experienced the love from a Merciful Savior and nothing else in life compared to that experience. Through so much Grace and the Sacraments, I understood what it meant to have true joy under the gaze of Jesus. Jesus taught me that my sport was not an obstacle to my sanctification, but it was actually the vessel he desired to encounter me and share the Gospel.

My volleyball career came to end after several injuries, and I decided to pursue a masters degree in Kinesiology and Sport Physiology from Texas A&M. During this time I felt a deep call to give my entire life to Jesus and share the greatest gift I have ever received, a relationship with Him. This call led me back to where the Lord decided to encounter me, through FOCUS. I could not be more alive and excited to go on mission to share the beauty of the Church and show others how loved they are by most loving God.

When I said “yes” to be a FOCUS missionary, I decided to rely on the prayer and financial support of mission partners to send me on mission.
