I’m so excited that God has called me to serve at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee! Go Panthers!

I am incredibly blessed to have grown up Catholic, but I came into college with a very surface-level faith. I knew I was longing for something more, but I didn’t know what it was or how to get there. While studying for my bachelor’s degree in accounting at Wright State University, I encountered a community that radiated Christ’s love and joy. 

Through my friendship with a FOCUS missionary and her investment in me, I joined a Bible study and began to develop authentic friendships that drew me closer to the Lord. Their witness inspired me to go deeper in my faith, and the ways I was accompanied throughout this journey helped me see the beauty of a life lived for God. Through daily prayer, the sacraments, and surrounding myself with this community, I found a joy unlike any other. 

I realized that what I was longing for was a personal relationship with God: to intimately know my creator and the lover of my soul. Jesus has radically changed my life, and I desire for others to experience His abundant love and grace. True joy and happiness will never come from chasing the things of this world, and I desire to walk with others in the same way I was accompanied to help them experience the love and fulfillment that can only come from God alone.
