We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“When one loves, one does not calculate.”
-St. Therese of Lisieux
This year I am serving at The Ohio State University as a first-year missionary!
Hi all! I’m Libby Wilkins! I grew up in a Christian home in Ainsworth, Nebraska. From the time I was young, I wanted to know Jesus and draw closer to Him. There were many moments of encounter throughout my time in middle and high school, but I intentionally chose my faith when I converted to Catholicism during my sophomore year at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Throughout my conversion, Jesus continued to draw me into intimacy with Him through daily Eucharistic adoration. In prayer, I get to receive my identity and experience the delight of a good, good Father.
Now, I find it an incredible gift that I get to walk with women and show them intimacy with the Savior through prayer! In boldness, I get to share the Gospel, invite women to make Jesus the center of their lives, and walk with them through the joys and sufferings of the Christian life. This year is bound to be filled with great grace! I can’t wait to watch how the Lord works through my “yes”, both in my own life and in the lives of the students at Ohio State.
In Isaiah 6:8, the voice of the Lord calls out to Isaiah, saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” Isaiah answers, “Here I am, send me!”
I feel incredibly blessed that the Lord has called me to this mission. Similar to Isaiah, in my discernment with FOCUS, I gave a zealous ‘yes’. I said, “Lord, send me!” But my work cannot happen without your prayers and support! Please reach out to be added to my newsletter, where I share updates about my mission and specific prayer requests!
While we are all called to mission, for some, this is fulfilled not through going, but through giving. I would be honored to connect with you and share how you can become part of my mission in Columbus through a financial gift!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
