We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Piccoli Passi Possibile (Small Possible Steps)” -Blessed Chiara Corbella Petrillo
I am a second year missionary, and I am excited to continue serving at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge!
I grew up in a beautiful family that took the faith seriously, but unfortunately I took my faith for granted and sought fulfillment in material things more often than turning to the Lord. As I entered college, I looked to the party culture and interpersonal validation to fill my heart. Finding myself deeply unhappy, I impulsively signed up for a FOCUS mission trip to Ecuador through my Newman Center. It was there that I found what really filled my heart: the sacraments, prayer, service, and real, virtue-driven fellowship. I came back with a conviction to change the way I was living. My Bible study leader at the time asked if I would want to lead my own Bible study, and I found that I had a great love for walking with other women in this way. Now, as a missionary, I am able to give so much more time to investing in students, reaching out to the beautiful souls that the Lord places before me on campus.
Some people are called to give their time and talent to mission, and others are called only to give of their treasure. I cannot be physically on mission without mission partners who support me with prayers and finances. Your gift will allow me to reach souls and introduce them to the Lord—souls that may have been lost without your gift! Whether small or big, prayers alone or accompanied by a financial contribution, you can be confident that the Holy Spirit carries the graces you have merited onto the LSU campus. Thank you for being an instrument of His Love!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
