Where I serve

God has blessed me with the opportunity to serve on the Auraria Denver campus reaching students at University of Colorado Denver, Metro State University, and Community College of Denver!

My Story

Throughout college, I worked hard to build a successful future, pursuing academic achievement, leadership opportunities, and personal goals. Yet as I looked ahead, I found myself asking deeper questions about purpose, fulfillment, and what God might be calling me to do with my life.

At a pivotal moment, I attended a retreat that challenged me to consider whether I was truly allowing God to guide my plans. During that weekend, I experienced a renewed desire to seek His will above my own ambitions and to trust Him more fully with my future. What began as a time of reflection became the start of a deeper relationship with Christ and a greater openness to His call.

While on that retreat, I met a FOCUS missionary who invited me into Bible study and mentorship. Through his accompaniment, I grew in my faith, continued discerning God’s call, and discovered a passion for helping others encounter Christ in a personal way.

As I reflected on the impact that faithful discipleship had on my own life, I felt drawn to serve college students during a formative season of their lives. Through FOCUS, I have the opportunity to walk alongside students, invite them into authentic community, and help them grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
