Where I serve

I am so excited and blessed to announce that the Lord has called me to serve at Belmont University! I am a part of the Nashville team that serves both Belmont and Vanderbilt. Here is the rest of my team: Kyle, Andrew, Kevin, and Kate!

My Story

Growing up Catholic, I have been blessed to know who Jesus Christ is and to follow Him from a young age. However, for most of my life I followed Him at arm’s length. I felt a stirring in my heart to grow in deep intimacy with the Lord, but I could not see how a life lived in Christ was possible. Then, God led me to Clemson University for my undergraduate, and it was there that I first joined a Bible Study. One day, my Bible Study leader asked me a question that changed my life forever: “Do you desire to put Jesus at the center of your life and on the throne of your heart?” For the first time, I saw that a life lived in Christ was not only possible, but it is what I was made for!

After responding to my Bible Study leader’s question with an eager but uncertain “Yes,” I was brought into a beautiful journey. I dove into learning more about my faith and who Jesus was. I developed a personal, intimate relationship with Him. And, most of all, I learned my own identity through the eyes of God as His beloved. I became a Bible Study leader and was blessed to walk with other college women as they strove to respond to this same stirring that God whispers in all our hearts. My experience walking with these girls became the greatest joy during my time at Clemson!

As I neared the end of my time in college, I felt God placing another call on my heart – the call to be a missionary! My life was forever changed when my Bible Study leader invited me into a life lived in Christ and walked with me along the way. I now have the opportunity to do the same for others – what a gift! We are all God’s beloved, and He is knocking on the door of all our hearts.
