Where I serve

I will be serving as a first-year missionary at the University of Kentucky! There are so many souls being reached on UK’s campus, and I am so eager to journey with them and invite even more into the truth of the Gospel. The Lord is moving, and I cannot wait to see what He does in the hearts of these students.

My Story

Three years ago, I was given the greatest gift I have ever received – reception into the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church! I grew up in a Christian household, always knowing the love of the Lord and the truth of the Gospel. However, it was not until I was a senior in high school that I was introduced to the Catholic Church and the fullness of the faith at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Athens, TX. Throughout that year and into my freshman year of college at the University of Texas at Tyler, I became captivated by Christ in a new way – through His Church. Particularly, I fell in love with the Eucharist – the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ. I then received first Holy Communion and Confirmation on April 8, 2023. Thanks be to God!

I have had a heart for ministry for many years, but I fell in love with college ministry specifically through my involvement with St. John Paul II Catholic Campus Ministry at UT Tyler. It was there that God gave me a front row seat to his handiwork in the hearts of students. I had the pleasure of walking with my fellow college students by leading Bible studies, inviting them into an encounter with Christ.

While UT Tyler did not have FOCUS missionaries on campus during my time there, I was blessed to meet the missionaries at Stephen F. Austin (SFA) who invited me to SEEK 2024. From that point on, I fell in love with FOCUS and their initiative to live out the Great Commission in a radical way. At SEEK 2025, I received the call to become a full-time missionary myself. I realized the Lord was inviting me into His mission in a particular way. All I had to do was say ‘yes’!
