Born and raised Catholic, I treated my faith as one of the many activities I did to be involved all the way through college. I never took it seriously enough to place it at the center of my life. During college, I was in multiple bible studies, but I still pulled away and often put my studies or my sport first. I was introduced to FOCUS my junior year and became much more involved during my senior year.

In that season of growth, God reached me in a very deep and convicting way. Through a simple invitation to join a Bible study, I was led to a deeper relationship with Christ. By receiving the sacraments and going to adoration more regularly, I came to realize that God was calling me to something more than my original plan.

I decided to pursue FOCUS’ ministry and began to pray intentionally about that call. It was a true joy to share the Gospel with my teammates and friends. I realized that I don’t want to do anything that doesn’t place God at the center of my life. I feel a growing desire to walk with other women so they, too, can encounter the transformative love of Christ that changed my own life.

If God has taught me anything: it’s that I cannot do anything alone. When I joined FOCUS, I knew that I would have the opportunity to cultivate a beautiful relationship with mission partners for spiritual and financial support. It is an absolute blessing to be partners with such generous individuals and families.
