We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“At last I have found my vocation. My vocation is love!” -St. Therese of Lisieux
I have the privilege of working in the Denver Support Center as a Retreat Specialist. In this role, I get to work with other FOCUS missionaries all over the country and support them, love them, and empower them to facilitate a retreat for the people they are serving.
Growing up, my parents didn’t just talk to me about the faith, they lived it out by serving the church. Being able to witness what God can do with a continual yes moved me, and I was shown what it looked like to make disciples of all nations at a very early age.
As I got older, my desire to serve the Lord in ministry grew. When I was a freshman at Franciscan University, I felt the Lord start putting specific desires on my heart for how to serve Him. Firstly, He gave me a desire to work with college-aged students, and secondly, to serve those who were serving others.
Now, 6 years later, the Lord provided this opportunity with the Retreats team where I am able to live out these desires. I get to walk along-side missionaries and help them facilitate environments of encounter with God through FOCUS Retreats.
When I said yes to the Lord’s invitation to join FOCUS, I chose to rely on the spiritual and financial support of people like you. I’d be honored if you would join me on this mission. When you join my support team, you’re not just giving money or prayers, you’re actively changing the world, bringing Christ to people who may have never encountered Him, and helping make disciples of all nations. If you’re interested, let me know the best way to connect. I’d love to hear what God is doing in your life, and share more about the gift it’s been to serve with FOCUS!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
