Where I serve

God has called me to serve at Cal State Long Beach!! Go sharks!! I am so, SO excited to grow in friendship with these students and show them Christ’s love.

My Story

Within the last few years that I was involved with ASU’s Newman Center, I did Bible studies with the FOCUS missionaries there. Learning about the Father’s love for us through Salvation history has impacted my life in a radical way!! In a very tangible way, I’ve learned how the Lord has loved humanity and His creation since the very beginning and continues to pour His love into our lives every day. With this knowledge, I can’t help but be ecstatic to walk with other college students and teach them the Gospel!!

FOCUS has given me an incredible opportunity to encourage other young women in their relationships with Christ and show them how much He desires such!! I’ve been inspired and have learned how to do so through my time spent with the FOCUS missionaries at ASU’s Catholic Newman Center. Walking with these girls will not only inspire me by witnessing them grow in their faith, but it will also enrich my own!!

The time is now!! Becoming a FOCUS missionary is a direct way for me to be on mission for souls, and our culture needs our encouragement now more than ever!! Let’s start today and join Saint Mother Teresa when she said, “Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.”

In giving my yes to FOCUS, I said yes to relying on the generosity of others both spiritually and financially. While I will be the one to serve the students directly, this mission is not mine alone. Through your spiritual and financial support, you have an essential part in every Bible study, Discipleship meeting, gathering we have with the students, and life transformed by the Father’s love.
