Hey! My name’s Marie! I’m a FOCUS missionary, and I work with the Digital Outreach Team, working with students all over the country who desire to grow in their relationship with God.

Where I serve

I’m currently serving in my fifth year with FOCUS and first year with the Digital Outreach team, where I’ll be giving formation and community to students who aren’t able to have in-person FOCUS missionaries with them in college. It’s a joy for me to be able to provide this to those students who feel most isolated as they try to live their faith in college, and I eagerly anticipate helping launch some of the first Bible studies ever on those campuses!

My Story

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I want my life to look like the Lord’s, and so my hope is to impact and form women, who can go on to live solid, Catholic, abundant lives that impact even more souls. It’s an honor to be a co-worker with the Lord!

Your Impact

When Jesus called the 12 Apostles, He invested deeply in each and every one of them. He formed personal relationships with them and walked with them. As missionaries, we hope to model what Jesus did and walk with college students at an extremely pivotal point in their lives. When our family answered the call to join FOCUS, we made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me on this mission. I have been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed alongside this work – it would not be possible without their generosity!
