We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her.”

I was blessed to be raised in a very faithful Catholic family. My parents have always been incredible role models for me of what it looks like to faithfully live out the Catholic faith. Throughout middle school and high school I continued to be immersed in the faith through participating in many different retreats and camps, but my faith was never really my own. It wasn’t until my senior year of high school that I really started to develop a personal relationship with the Lord.
Once I got to college I had a surge of growth in my faith, but very quickly I was caught in the trap of trying to live in the world but not of the world. I struggled with living a double life; one foot in, one foot out. I desired to continued to grow in my faith, but what trapped in the grasps of the world. The end of my sophomore year, one of the FOCUS missionaries on my campus invited me to apply for FOCUS’ Summer Projects program.
I participated in Summer Projects at Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, CO. It was such an incredible experience and had a transforming impact on my faith life. I grew deeper not only in virtuous friendship with those around me, but also in relationship with the Lord. I build up habits of daily prayer and daily mass. It rekindled the fire that I had for my faith and sharing the Gospel.
Coming back to campus, I dove head first into my faith as well as my involvement with FOCUS. I started leading a bible study as well as discipling girls. I continued to fall deeper in love with our Lord in adoration and my desire to be on mission grew. By second semester of my junior year, I desired to be on mission and did not want to have to wait till I finished my undergraduate degree. The Lord has set a fire in my heart and given me a call to the mission that I couldn’t ignore.
When I answered the Lord’s call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me on this mission.
If you are interested in joining me on this mission of evangelization and spreading the Gospel, please let me know the best way I can reach you. I would love to set up an appointment with you so I can share a little more of what this mission is all about and how you can become a missionary disciple alongside of me!!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
