We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve college students and student-athletes at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, where I am entering my second year as Team Director with FOCUS. After spending three incredible years serving at Texas A&M University and my first year leading the team here at Benedictine, I continue to be amazed by the ways God is transforming lives on campus.
As Team Director, I have the privilege of leading and mentoring a team of missionaries as we accompany students in their relationship with Christ. Together, we strive to form lifelong missionary disciples who know Jesus deeply and are equipped to share His love with others.
Benedictine College is a unique place with a vibrant Catholic culture and a strong commitment to faith, community, and excellence. It is a joy to invest in students during such a pivotal season in their lives, helping them to encounter Christ and discover the mission He has for them.
This summer, I also entered a new vocation as I married my wife, Jenna. We are excited to serve the Lord together and are grateful for the opportunity to accompany students as they grow in faith and pursue holiness.
I grew up in a faithful Catholic family with two younger brothers and parents who instilled in me a love for God and His Church. After attending Catholic schools throughout my childhood, I went on to the University of North Dakota, where I studied electrical engineering and kinesiology while competing in track and field and cross country.
Although I had a strong foundation in my faith, college revealed a deeper longing in my heart. I found myself searching for purpose, direction, and authentic community. Through the Newman Center and the intentional friendship of a FOCUS missionary, I encountered Jesus Christ in a personal and transformative way. For the first time, I experienced what it meant to truly live as His disciple.
That encounter changed everything. Through prayer, discipleship, and authentic Christian community, the Lord drew me closer to Himself and gave me a passion for sharing the Gospel with others.
Now, after four years of serving as a FOCUS missionary, I continue to be inspired by the way God works through personal relationships. Just as Christ invested deeply in a few and sent them out to change the world, I seek to accompany students, helping them grow as disciples who can lead others to Him.

Every life changed through this mission is made possible by a team of faithful partners who share in the work of evangelization. When I said “yes” to serving with FOCUS, I also said “yes” to trusting God to provide through the generosity, prayers, and encouragement of others.
Your partnership allows me to dedicate my time fully to accompanying students, mentoring missionaries, leading Bible studies, and helping young men and women encounter Christ in a life-changing way. Together, we are investing in the next generation of Catholic leaders, spouses, parents, priests, religious, and missionaries who will impact the Church and the world for years to come.
Jenna and I are deeply grateful for every person who makes this mission possible through prayer and financial support. We consider our mission partners an essential part of this work, and we would be honored to share more about what God is doing at Benedictine College and how you can be involved.
Thank you for your prayers, generosity, and partnership in bringing the Gospel to college students.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
