We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
In my four years of undergraduate, I was fortunate to play on the women’s collegiate soccer team at Bridgewater College. Although a student-athlete, the competition, comparison, and unhealthy perceptions of health and well-being weighed heavy. The imagery one takes on of themself can be detrimental to their perception of others, and in my personal experience it tampered with my relationships. I indulged in the unfulfilling lifestyle college offers in search of validation, meaning, and purpose. Time and time again, this deep, unquenchable desire of my heart continued to ache. I encountered the Lord as I cried aloud in desolation, turning to Him for forgiveness, hope, and direction. He created strength and peace in places where doubt and worry once lingered. I was overwhelmed by His merciful love; an indescribable lightness and contentment came over me as I surrendered my fears and the desires of my heart to Him.
I began to pray more frequently and jumped on new opportunities, challenging and expanding my faith. Fellowship and community, an answered prayer. I took a courageous leap of faith in joining a larger university (in comparison to my own college) in attending the FOCUS SEEK 24 Conference. I traveled from D.C. to St. Louis with 50 strangers, holding out on making any expectations of the experience. Uncertain of the influence this conference would have, I recognized the gaping hole in my heart was not one that could be filled by the things of this world. The moment I saw Jesus in the most blessed sacrament, I fell in love. They processed Jesus through the crowds filled with thousands of people who were swept off their feet by His love, I wept, overcome by the joy of His presence. The consolation I endured in this very moment I never wanted to lose.
Upon returning to my campus, I prayed for graces of openness and receptivity of souls to be increased through the gift of faith. I saw the radiant light of Jesus shine on His faithful children, inspiring others to live in their truth as beloved children of Christ. I discovered others amidst their brokenness struggling with temptations, and I wanted them to know there is hope in His Resurrection. I sought Jesus’ calling to serve as an example and to bring about His light in places of darkness. In pursuit of the Lord’s will, I said “yes” to serving as a FOCUS missionary to save lost souls on college campuses who seek the presence of the Lord in their lives.
In answering God’s call to serve as a FOCUS missionary, I have been given the privilege of inviting others to join my mission both through spiritual and financial support. Placing my trust before the Lord, I am relying on the generous support of mission partners. This journey is driven by the unfailing love of Jesus as He shines on the souls searching for eternal fulfillment and finding enrichment through their identity in Christ. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know the best way to reach you, as I would love to schedule an appointment with you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
