Where I serve

I am super stoked to announce that I will be serving at George Mason University in Fairfax Virginia. Go Patriots!

My Story

From an early age, Catholicism was more than a practice, it was integrated into my upbringing. I was involved in many areas of the Church, from altar serving and lectoring to singing in the choir and even teaching Sunday school to second and third graders, where the virtue of patience was definitely honed. At the time, my involvement was more for the laughs, the attention, and the joy of being known more than because I fully understood the beauty of service. But even then, there was a small part of my heart that knew I was made for something deeper.

As I grew older, especially during high school and my first year at George Mason University, I found myself chasing status, approval, and freedom in all the wrong places. I made choices that left me feeling lost, lonely, and disconnected from who I really was. Yet even in that mess, God was still working, placing people in my life who gently pointed me back to Him and over time, the Lord began transforming me. What started as a small longing became a deeper desire to serve, love, and give myself to others.

And that desire blossomed into joining FOCUS. As a missionary, my desire is to be a “big brother” to all the students the Lord wills for me to encounter, especially those longing for genuine and healthy friendship. My hope is that the Lord will work through me, so that these students may come to discover a relationship with Him.
