We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10
I serve at California State University – Fullerton. Go Titans!!

I was blessed to grow up in a devout Catholic family which helped my faith grow through childhood. However, as each person finds out, there comes a time when your faith must be your own, your own relationship with God, and not just something you do out of habit.
I was fortunate to have many chances to discover my own relationship with God the Father, largely through my time in college at the St. Paul university parish at Wichita State University, and through Summer Projects with FOCUS. In a gradual way I began to see that this relationship should be what guides my whole life, and that life is better that way.
After college I worked in the healthcare field for a time, but felt a desire to give back to others what had been given to me. I said yes to serving as a missionary with FOCUS, and that’s what has brought me to today!
My time as a missionary so far has been an adventure. Working with college students full-time, I am continually brought to two ideas: the adundant life and living as a son or daughter of the Father. No matter the time or place, these are things people always desire and God wants to give! My hope in being a missionary is to share these truths with students who need to hear it.
My goal as a missionary is not only to reach students on campus, but to involve others in my life to pray for and support this evangelization. The missionary work of FOCUS is only possible through the dedicated prayers and financial support of mission partners. Your “yes” impacts everything we are able to do on campus! If you are interested in becoming a partner with me, let me know the best way to get in touch, and I’d be happy to share more about the mission and how you can be part of it. God Bless!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
