My Story
Growing up in a Catholic household, I never missed mass on Sunday and went to Catholic schools for my whole life. However, I always longed for something deeper than living a surface level faith. I turned to other things to fill this longing, but the Lord called me home to Him at the end of my first semester at Indiana university. Through an invitation to a Thursday night mass from a missionary friend of mine, I encountered Him whom my soul longs for, and saw myself as His bride. This began a radical reversion back to the faith, and a change in my heart that I could never undo. The Lord has put a passion in my heart for showing people their belovedness and their beauty. I am excited to dive into this passion as a first year FOCUS missionary this year, and look forward to being surprised with the Lord’s continuing goodness as I begin this adventure.
