We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Sanctify yourself, and you will sanctify society”
– St. Francis of Assisi
By Divine Providence, the Lord has called my family and I to serve the students at the University of Rhode Island! I have called Rhode Island home for the past 5 years, and I am so blessed to be on mission in this beautiful state!
Please pray for my family and the rest of our team as we enter into year 2 on mission!

I attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst where I encountered FOCUS Missionaries who intentionally walked with me as I came to know and love the merciful heart of Jesus Christ.
I was blessed to receive my sacraments at a young age and being Catholic was always a part of my identity. However, it wasn’t until college where I had a deep encounter with Jesus and began to authentically live out my faith as the cornerstone of my life.
My friend Charlotte had extended a simple invitation to the Newman Center at UMass and it was there that I first encountered missionaries. From my first interaction with them I could tell something was different – they had a joyful peace. Something rare to find on a college campus, but SO desirable! From that point Charlotte continued to invite me to Newman Center events, and by her witness, and the new witness of the missionaries, I began to see that I too could find a joyful peace in my own life.
And let the peace of Christ control your hearts.
Colossians 3:15
Before I knew it I desired to live the way that my Catholic friends were living and began to make real changes to my life. I joined a Bible Study, started attending daily Mass, purchased a Bible, learned the Rosary, and began to pray for the first time. Charlotte and the missionaries continued to witness to me and actively teach me how to live authentically for Christ, and in just a few short months it wasn’t simply my exterior behaviors changing, but the disposition of my heart. I began to fall in love with Jesus and for the first time, felt that same joyful peace that I first encountered in the missionaries. My life hasn’t been the same since!
I chose to follow the Lord’s call to be a campus missionary because I saw firsthand the profound impact intentional incarnational evangelization, friendship, and witness can have on the soul. And I am so excited to continue to walk with the students at URI in their own pursuit of peace, joy, and relationship with Christ!
As a FOCUS Missionary I rely on the prayerful and financial generosity of my mission partners. Through your partnership I am able to freely bring the joy of the Gospel to college students and win more souls for Christ to fulfill His great commission. That being said, if you are interested in partnering with me and my family, please reach out using the contact information below! Additionally, if you are ready to partner with us financially, you will see the giving instructions below as well!
Your partnership is what makes the mission of FOCUS possible and we are so grateful to be on this journey with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
