We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” – John 10:10
I will be serving at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa! Go Bulldogs!!
My story is an awesome adventure that began in Royal Oak, MI where I had the great privilege to recieve the sacraments and be catechized at National Shrine of the Little Flower. I prayed daily with my family however as I grew older, I began to pray less and my faith became less important to me. Upon entering college, my faith was important to me but I was increasingly exposed to worldly temptations and distractions. Soon, I found myself far from the Lord and did not have faithful disciples around me to help me to regain my footing. I began to doubt my faith and entered a challenging time where I confused my identity with what others thought of me, what I accomplished and where I would head professionally. This caused me great stress as my sense of who I was flucutated greatly with the highs and lows of life. Thankfully, I encountered someone who shared with me that my identity could instead be in being a son of my Father in heaven. This changed things for me as I saw my life in light of being provided for by God. I became excited about the Gospel and what it meant for my life and for the world. I soon encountered FOCUS missionaries doing outreach and was impressed by their zeal for their faith and moved me to take interest in the Catholic campus ministry at my school. I atteneded a FOCUS retreat and encountered Jesus’ presence and his love for me in the Eucharist. Experiencing Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist convicted me to pursue relationship with Him alongside my brothers in Christ I met on retreat. The life of faith in Christ opened up a new world of hope and joy to me and now I am excited to bring this to others who are in the same position I was!
By supporting me, you are helping brining Christ to those who most need him at one of the most pivotal times of their lives! One moment, one conversation, one prayer, one Bible verse could be the turning point from a life from slavery to the world to a life of freedom in Christ!
“For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!” – 1 Corinthians 9:16

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
