We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
My friend, welcome!
1 Thessalonians 2:8
I’m so excited to be serving my first year at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico! GO LOBOS!!
Please pray for my team and I as we are praying for you!
While I was raised catholic my whole life, my relationship with Christ wasn’t always something personal but rather something I did because I knew should.
I desired more intimacy with Christ but struggled with worldly temptations that led me astray from a deeper relationship with Christ
However, that all changed when I left for college. I graduated with my bachelors in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine (UCI), Zot Zot! My decision to go UCI really was in a matter of obedience from our Lord telling me very clearly in prayer that that’s where he desired me. I arrived to UCI with many wounds in my heart that I was running from. I met Christine Joy Moran, a FOCUS missionary my first year who walked with me in discipleship and showed me the gift of virtuous friendship. They invited me to seek where I had a deep encounter with Christ in the Eucharist that changed my life. An encounter that showed me how deeply the Lord has pressured me and made me want to know Christ deeper and make him known.
I came back to campus and immediately got much more involved in my campus ministry and began leading discipleship, bible studies and eventually stepping into leadership for our ministry. With FOCUS’s support and the support of our Chaplain Father Benjamin Tran, it’s been such a gift to not only encounter the students where they’re at but to see them blossom in their faith and a desire to help lead others. Encountering those who have sacrificed much for their joy of sharing the gospel and inviting me into their lives allowed me a glimpse into the Father’s heart and inspired the same desire to show others how loved they are. To see that life with Christ truly is a wonderful adventure!
Being called as a full time missionary means that I am completely dependent on the trust that the Lord will provide for me to go on mission for my students. Encountering the students where they’re at is only through the generosity and kindness of friends like you who desire to see a change and set students on fire for Christ. A desire to change the lives of those that are searching for something deeper. If you would like to join me on mission of knowing Christ and fulling his great commission, I’d love to make an appointment with you so that together, we can set the world on fire!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
