We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
The Lord has called me to serve the students at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. This is quite different from Itasca Community College and Michigan Technological University, But I am exited to see what is in store for this year!
I grew up attending church without truly grasping its significance. It wasn’t until late in high school that I began to explore the Christian faith on my own by reading parts of the Bible. However, it was during the summer after my freshman year of college that I had my first encounter with Christ. This pivotal moment led me to join an RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) class at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grand Rapids, MN, and ultimately to enter the Catholic Church by the end of my sophomore year.
After transferring to Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI, I found opportunities to actively live out my faith by participating in and leading FOCUS Bible studies and discipleship groups. It was during this time that I had profound experiences with God, which showed me what a genuine relationship with Him could truly be like.
I had an incredible experience leading Bible studies and discipleship groups and felt God calling me to continue this work by becoming a full-time missionary with FOCUS.
I’m thrilled to invite you to join me on this mission. Your generous support profoundly impacts the spiritual journeys of young adults and helps foster a community rooted in faith. Building a strong relationship with all my supporters is important to me, so please feel free to reach out via text or email if you’re interested in joining me!
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
