We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“This is my beloved son with whom I am well pleased; listen to Him.”
Matthew 17:5
I am very excited to be serving as a FOCUS missionary with the Bosco Project in my first year at the Auraria Campus! The Auraria Campus hosts the University of Colorado Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and Community College of Denver! I could not be more excited to begin my first year of mission serving along side the other men apart of the Denver Bosco Team!

I was raised in the Catholic faith and grew up in a Catholic family, but for much of my life, faith never held a central role. When I began studying at the University of Illinois, my eyes were directed toward almost anything other than the Lord. It was not until I attended a Bible study in my fraternity house that I first began to hear God’s call to return to him.
In that study we read about Jesus’ calling of His first disciples. Matthew 4:19–20 says, “‘Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.’ Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.” I did not realize it at first, but this passage placed something in my heart that day that would eventually change my life forever.
From there, I slowly began to pursue Jesus in a way I never had before through returning to prayer, deep investment from FOCUS missionaries, and involvement within our Newman Center on campus. As I continued saying yes to Jesus in small ways, my life began to be continually transformed.
As I moved into graduate school, I became more involved in leading Bible studies and discipleship groups, attending retreats, and eventually attending my first SEEK conference at the beginning of 2026. Through all of these experiences, I could feel the Lord placing a deeper call to mission on my heart. However, after previously accepting a job offer in architecture, walking away from the career path I had spent years pursuing was something I never imagined I could do.
It was not until a mission trip to Peru during my final year of graduate school that I encountered the Lord’s love in such a way that I finally realized my calling to serve as a full-time missionary with FOCUS!
What I will always remember from this trip is something our mission leader, Alejo, said to us when we first arrived: “Our mission here is simply to love these people and allow ourselves to receive that love back.” The more I reflected on those words, the more I realized that this is not just our mission in Peru, but our mission everywhere we go.
“Foolish is he who follows the pleasures of this world, because these are always fleeting and bring much pain. The only true pleasure is that which comes to us through faith.”
– St. Pier Giorgio Frassati
As I strive to live out the gospel on college campuses while walking alongside students in their faith journey, the mission only remains possible through the support of others, both spiritual and financial. I call on you to join me in this common pursuit of the church to proclaim the Kingdom of God and make disciples of all nations.
I would love to have you partner with me personally on this mission to bring the gospel to college students. It would be an honor to schedule an appointment and share in this mission with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
