We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
From small Watertown, Minnesota, to a freshman at the University of Minnesota Duluth, my story began with knowing there probably a God—but not what that meant for me. I set foot on campus with no intention of making faith a priority in my life, but God had other plans. College is a place where people often find meaning and up until my sophomore year, I had not yet found it.
I was continuously invited to Newman events and found a family that made me feel seen, known, and loved. Eventually, SEEK24 transformed my heart and removed the mud from my eyes, revealing a world full of God’s divine love and intimacy. I wanted the same passion and zeal for Jesus as those people on the stage at SEEK. Through Bible study, discipleship, and the sacraments, I became more like Jesus each and every day, desiring a fire not only for my own heart but for the whole world around me!
My “yes” to FOCUS comes from a desire to join the Lord’s army and fight for Him every day! Each person on campus deserves a chance at the same individual investment and love that I received, which is why I want to try and make that a reality.
By supporting this mission, you become a vital part of bringing Christ to college students who are searching for truth, identity, and purpose. Your prayers and financial support allow me to be on campus full-time, investing deeply in students through authentic friendship, discipleship, and the sacraments. Many of these students may never walk into a church on their own—but through your generosity, I can walk with them right where they are. You’re not just giving to a missionary—you’re helping transform lives for eternity. Together, we’re building God’s kingdom, one soul at a time.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
