We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve at Northern Michigan University in the upper peninsula of Michigan as a first year missionary with my three teammates.
I grew up Catholic and attended Catholic school until 6th grade. However, through middle school, high school and my early years in college I pursued a life of pleasure. I was yearning for more, for purpose, peace and joy. I began to encounter God through Scripture, where I found this purpose, peace and joy because it was God who was beginning a good work in me! After two years of community college I transferred to the University of lowa to finish a degree in psychology. There through a strong Catholic community, Scripture and the Sacraments God has continued to call me deeper into relationship with Him. This has led me to say ‘yes’ to being a FOCUS missionary where I get to live out more fully the universal call of holiness and evangelization at Northern Michigan University.
God has called me to be a missionary and through faith allowed me to respond to this call. He continues to teach me how to trust in Him by relying on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who are journeying with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
