I was raised Catholic, but I only really followed the obligations and didn’t understand that I could have a relationship with the Lord. I went off to college and was personally invested in by friends around me, and they showed me how to have a relationship with Christ. After growing in my relationship with the Lord, I started leading a Bible study and I fell in love with the Lord even more through working with others and leading them to Christ. I didn’t want leading others to just be something I did in my free time while in college, I wanted it to be my full time job. I love loving people and listening to them, and I wanted the opportunity to prioritize relationships with individuals and not also have the restraint of college classes and another job. I want to be on mission to invest in others and show them love and care. I want students to know Christ’s love for them in the sense that if an imperfect human being sees them, why wouldn’t God? I want to share the never-ending joy and love that Christ has so graciously given me to the people who don’t know of it yet.
