Where I serve

I am excited to share that the Lord has called me to serve college students as a FOCUS missionary! I’ll be serving my first year at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA!

My Story

Hi! I’m Sofia, and I’m a first-year missionary with FOCUS! I recently graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), and during college, I encountered Christ in a much deeper way. After experiencing the Lord’s love in my own life, I decided to give my life to Him and serve Him through missionary work. I’m so excited to see where He leads me and to share His love with college students!

College students today are searching for meaning, purpose, and authentic love. So many are hungry for the truth of the Gospel, whether they realize it or not. The Lord has called me to meet them where they are, accompany them in their journey, and invite them into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
