My Story

I first entered into Cal State Long Beach where I first met and encountered Focus missionaries,I remember being struck of their radiant joy for Christ. It was Ordinary people saying “yes” to Jesus and inviting others to do the same.

The summer after my sophomore year, I joined a mission trip to Mexico and met missionaries from across the country who shared that same joy and love for the Lord. Through that experience, I learned that evangelization is not about having the perfect plan—it is about relationships. It is about walking with others, meeting them where they are, and inviting them to encounter Christ.

That summer, I not only discovered a deeper sense of purpose, but I also witnessed God’s love in a profound and personal way. I returned home with a greater trust in His providence and a conviction that the Gospel truly changes lives.

I am Currently so excited to see what is in store for me this upcoming year especially entering mission life, engaged! I met my fiancé at Cal State Long Beach and we will be getting married in November, ( please pray for us) But as we enter into these two vocations ( marriage and mission) we are so extremely blessed to be able to accompany students in a unique way.

Our prayer is that through our witness, students will come to know that they are deeply loved by God and called to a life of purpose, whether that leads them to marriage, religious life, or priesthood.
