Howdy! My name is Thomas Glawe, I am a FOCUS missionary at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS.

“We know that all the things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose” Romans 8:28
The Lord has called me to serve at The University of Kansas specifically for Greek outreach. This means I will be specifically working with students who are involved in Greek life. I am so stoked to walk with these men and women to bring them closer to God.
I grew up in Littleton, Colorado, right next to the beautiful Rocky Mountains, blessed with a loving and supportive Catholic family. Throughout high school, I knew I wanted to study Architectural Engineering, which led me to attend CU Boulder (Sko Buffs!).
At CU, I experienced life both in a fraternity and around the Catholic center. While I entered college with a basic understanding of my faith, it wasn’t until my sophomore year that I began to dive deeper and truly encounter Christ. Frequenting the sacraments, attending retreats, and surrounding myself with other faithful men enabled me to live in true communion with Jesus.
Inspired by the missionaries who guided me through my reversion, I feel honored to now have the opportunity to be that guiding presence in someone else’s life as a FOCUS missionary.

As a FOCUS missionary I have committed to serving two years by relying on spiritual and financial support from folks like yourself. This allows me to give of myself fully to those on campus. If you are interested in supporting me please reach out I would love to talk more about the mission and ways that you can join me on this adventure!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
